The Mummy Box (“we”, “us”) is a pregnancy and postpartum care brand operated by The Mummy Box. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit themummybox.com, create an account, place an order, or write to us.

Account details you give us — name, email address, phone number, and shipping addresses — when you sign in through Shopify or update your profile.

Order information needed to pack and deliver your box, including the products you chose, payment confirmation from our payment providers, and delivery notes.

Messages you send through our contact form, email, or tools such as the birth plan generator. Birth-plan answers are used only to create the document you asked for.

Technical information that helps the site work, such as cookies for your cart, wishlist, and signed-in session, plus basic analytics about which pages are visited.

To fulfil orders, manage subscriptions, and show you your account, orders, addresses, and saved items.

To reply when you contact us, and to send order updates or, if you have asked for them, occasional emails about boxes and pregnancy guidance.

To keep the site secure, understand what is useful, and improve how pages load and how checkout works.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use pregnancy or health details you share in our tools for advertising.

Shopify, which hosts our store, customer accounts, and checkout. Payment is handled by Shopify’s payment partners — we do not store full card numbers.

Delivery partners, only so they can bring your box to the address you gave us.

Service providers who host the website or send email on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they may use your data.

We may share information if the law requires it, or if we must protect a person or the business from serious harm.

Account and order records are kept for as long as you have an account and for the period we need them for tax, accounting, and customer support. You can ask us to delete information that we no longer need to keep.

Birth-plan answers live in your browser session and are not stored as a customer profile after you leave, unless you choose to save or send the plan yourself.

You can review and update addresses from your account, and you can sign out at any time.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Email hello@themummybox.com.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message we send. Transactional emails about an order you placed will still come through.

We use essential cookies so your cart, wishlist, and login session stay with you as you move around the site. Analytics cookies help us see which pages are used, in aggregate.

You can block cookies in your browser. The shop, cart, and account areas may not work correctly if essential cookies are turned off.

Our site is for adults buying care for pregnancy and postpartum. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you have seen the new version.
